We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2024, at the age of 83, David Edward Fletcher (Winnipeg, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Barry Fletcher and Ruth Fletcher; his siblings, Peter Fletcher and Patricia; and also Belinda Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Steven, Gordon Fletcher (Lisbeth) and Julia Fletcher (Steve); and his grandchildren, Madeline, Evelyn, Henry, Oliver, David and Thomas.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Assiniboine Park (Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg, MB).
His contributions to projects such as Manitoba's Bipole 1 and Bipole 2 established Teshmont as a global leader in HVDC.
