He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Norman, Isabella Shorting (McLean), Philip and Christina Sinclair (Thompson); his aunts and uncles, James Thompson, Wilfred Thompson, Ernest Sinclair, Mark Sinclair, Robert "Bob" Shorting, Arnold Shorting, Regenald Thompson, Allen Shorting, Zelma Hunter, Dorothy Eastman, Olga Anderson and Sarah Thompson; his sister-in-law Pamela Peters; and his nephew Jonathan Peters.
He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Sinclair Sr. and Sylvia Shorting; his siblings, Durwin Sinclair and Shelley Sinclair; his aunts, Mary-Ann Pahl, Eleanor McKay (Allen McKay), Maxine Anderson and Darlene Ross; his nieces and nephews, Nathan Peters, Noah Sinclair, Zander Sinclair, Christina Stevenson, Isabella, Peyton and Marlena Peters; and his child Hayden.
A burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brookside Cemetery. A wake was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Eternal Grace Funerals (1111 Logan Ave #10, Winnipeg, MB R3E1P9).
