He was predeceased by: his wife Rita (Janzen); his parents, Jacob Willms and Louise Willms; and his siblings, Magda, Waldy, Edgar, Eric and Peter.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Pat Willms, Dorothy Willems, Helen Willms and Maureen Janzen; his cousins, Ed Unger, Peter Dick and Ron Dick; and his nieces and nephews, Derek, Lori, Herb Jr. Chelita, Ingrid, Rhoda, Karl, Hayden, Mark, Keith, Scot, Candice and Paul. He is also survived by 18 great nieces and nephews, and 12 great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Friends Funeral Home (2146 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R2V3S5).
