She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Bruce Thorsten; her parents, Walter Skwarek and Jean Skwarek (Strileski); and her sister Joyce. She is survived by: her brother Larry Skwarek (Sonja) of Kamloops, BC; her children, Lori Pietracci (John) of Winnipeg, Bryan Thorsten (Tina) of Calgary, Robert Thorsten (Pamela) of Winnipeg and Lynne Pawluk (Scott) of Winnipeg Beach; her grandchildren, Dustin Thorsten (Charity), Caitlyn Pietracci, Shawna Johnson (Matt), Trevor Pawluk (Missy), Nastassja Thorsten (Lily), Anika Thorsten (Stefan), Alyssa Thorsten (Colton), Ashley Malcolm (Lane), Alana Sheehan and Alex Sheehan (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Tristan, Joel, Leah, Maddy, Elly, Emerson, Bennett, Declan, Riley, Blair, Kyler and Emmet.
