She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Peters and Daniel P. Peters; her husband David Friesen; and her son Karl. She is survived by: her son John Howard; and her siblings, Frank Peters, Dorothy Friesen (John) and Susan Zacharias (Ed).

Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Home - Winkler (121 8 St, Winkler, MB R6W0M1). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church (252 6 St, Winkler, MB R6W4B2).
