It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth (Wiebe-Heppner) Hepner of Winkler, Manitoba, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband John Wiebe; her parents, Ed Heppner and Mary Heppner; and her sister Esther. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Hepner; her children, Josie Anderson (Rusty), Jon Wiebe (Michelle) and Jacqueline Gold; her grandchildren, Bryan, Sabrina, Amy, Joel (Ronald), Steven, Hannah, Andrew, Joshua Byers, Jared, Jaylin, Callie, Judah Wiebe and Dianna Shumila; her great grandchildren, Nygel, Devan, Vienna, Mickita, Carter, Odin, Zacharias and Cierra; her siblings, John Heppner (Margaret), Tony Heppner, Katherine Stobbe, Tim Heppner (Barb), Madeline Thiessen and Paul Heppner (Joann); and her child Jackie.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Ruth's memory to a charity of one's choice.
