He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Abe Unrau (Margaret Doreen Doell). He is survived by: his children, Kevin Doell (Kristen) and Jolene Peters (Pete Peters); his grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan and Cameron of Sperling; his son Jerry (Anna); his grandchildren, Jordan and Brayden of Oak Bluff; his sons, Edwin of Winkler and Steven (Beverly); his grandchildren, Kelsi, Adriane, Taylor, Adam of Kane, Myron, Marcus and Amalie of Winkler; and his siblings, Dorothy (Bernie Friesen), Art (Tina Doell) and Evelyn Doell.

The Covid restrictions did not allow the whole family to be by his side but their hearts were there with him.
