He was predeceased by: his sister Mary; his son-in-law Peter; and his parents, Ben Bergen and Anna Bergen. He is survived by: his children, Richard, Dewayne and Polly; his siblings, Jim (Helen) and Carol (Henry); and his grandchildren, Leah (Adam) and Marcus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
