She was predeceased by: her father Cornelius J Wieler; her husband Ernest Peters; and her grandson Bradley. She is survived by: her mother Eva Wieler; and her children, Harvey (Dorothy), Alvina (Gordon Penner), Nancy (Randy Warkentine), Kevin (Laureen) and Andrea (Mike Knezevich). She is also survived by three sisters and one brother.

Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Home - Winkler (121 8 St, Winkler, MB R6W0M1). A burial will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Westridge Memorial Gardens (1900 Pembina Ave W, Plum Coulee, MB R0G1R0). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church (252 6 St, Winkler, MB R6W4B2).
