She was predeceased by: her sister Gertrud; her siblings-in-law, Eberhard, Hildegard, Annemarie and Lisa; her niece Sigrid; and her parents, Paul Dircks and Annemarie Dircks.

She is survived by: her husband Johann; her children, Albertus (Lynda), Inge-Marie Westermann (Werner), Dirk and Harm; her grandchildren, Britta (Jan Westermann), Stephanie (Braden), Christian (Leah) and Michael (Mark Hinrichs); her great grandchildren, Ian and Carson Hinrichs; and her brothers, Ferdinand (Uschi) and Paul (Heiderun).
