He is survived by: his children, Clarence (Maria), Carol Peever (Wells) and Michael Jr. (Leila); his grandchildren, Paul Kohut (Isla), Linda Kohut (Jim Watkins), Sean Peever (Keiland Stiglitz) of Surrey, BC, Steven Peever and Julia Kohut; his great grandchildren, Lana Kohut, Reid Kohut and Jack Watkins; his sister Lena Pawlitsky of Kelowna, BC; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Kohut and Nataline Mandzie. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
