He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Mary; his siblings, Tony and Adeline; his mother-in-law Sadie Reid; and his brothers-in-law, Nick Myketa, Moe Zipman and Ian Allan.

He is survived by: his wife Laraine; his great-aunt Amelia Ciastko; his sister Teenie Myketa; his nieces and nephews, Pat Myketa, Marlene Myketa-Girard (Alain), Aaron and Mike Safioles (Kaely); and his sisters-in-law, Pat (Ricky Cameron) and Fiona Allan. He is also survived by many friends and former co-workers.
