With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvyn Robert Christian (West St Paul, Manitoba), born in Rocanville, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 14, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Amy Trudgeon (Christian) and Robert Ivan Christian; his grandson Benjamin Christian; his brother Herb Christian; his nephew Lionel White; and his brother-in-law Daniel Filipowich.
He is survived by: his former wife Lilian Mary Christian (Hay); his wife Dorothy Phyllis Adams; his children, Bruce, Susan and Suraya (Peter); his grandchildren, Steven (Jamie), Daniel (Nicole), Leanna (Russell), Cassandra, Grant, Jasmin and Liam; his great grandchildren, Amy Lynn, Mila, Caleb, Peter, Lillianna, Katherine, Phoebe, Levi, Hannah, Henry and Sophia; and his siblings, Linda White (Peter), Elizabeth Filipowich and Gord Christian. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 virus there will be no funeral service.
