She was predeceased by: her husband Peter; her parents, Wasyl "Bill" Cherewayko and Wasylka Cherewayko; her siblings, Helen (Stanley), Matt (Dolores) and John; and her brothers-in-law, Peter S and Peter T..
She is survived by: her children, Rose Ann (Stewart) and Yaroslow (Maria); her grandchildren, Thomas (Sheri), Victor (Karrie), Charlene (Terry) and Jeremy (Alex); her sisters, Verna, Anna (Wayne) and Florence; and her sister-in-law Liz. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Willow Place Shelter in Mary's name.
