She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter N. Koop and Katherina Koop (Tina); her husband Eltjo Van Wyk (Joe); and her daughter Kathy. She is survived by: her children, Jannes (Jim), Katherine (Kathy) and Margaret Jr. Margaret (Doug); her brothers, Jac (Mary), David (Carol) and Neil (Marge); her son Jim (Linda); and her grandchildren, Joseph, Phillip and Karen.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a memorial service for Margaret will be held at a later date when it is safe to do so.
In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to a charity of your choice.
