She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne and John. She is survived by: her son Kevin; her sisters, Norma Weiss (Herman), Sandra LeMoine (Don), Marlene Mulhearn (Steve) and Ruth Hapko (Todd Miller); and her son Assiniboine Park. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Karen's memory to the Lung Association or a charity of one's choice.
