She was predeceased by: her husband Lisle Hutson Simmons; her parents, Clairmonte Watson and Gertrude Watson; her siblings, Mercilla Geraldine Branker (Ralf), Densil Carlo Watson (Lorraine), Joan Amelda Moore (Tony), Pauline Clairmonte Stewart (Percy), Lloyd Leonard Watson and Peter Sylvanis Watson; her granddaughter Christina Lynn Simmons; and her daughter-in-law Patrica Simmons.

She is survived by: her children, Anderson Simmons (Joanne), Jean Gaskin, Antoinette Zloty (Richard), Judy Friesen and Deborah Morgans (Geraint); her grandchildren, Renee Batson, Anthony Simmons (Jackie), Shelley Hall (John), Chad Allsopp, Natasha Zloty, Jeremy Zloty, Michelle Friesen, Danielle Friesen, Tosan Odidison and Temisan Odidison; her great grandchildren, Brittany Parker (Erin), Keenan Simmons, Jordan Lalonde, Tedra and Teshaun Batson; her great great grandchildren, Evander Batson, Jaxon, Maya Parker and Kashton Batson; and also Anne Oddison. She is also survived by her family and friends.
