Hildegard Knopf Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hildegard Knopf (West St Paul, Manitoba), who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Knopf; her parents, Victor Schroeder and Lydia Schroeder; her sister Dagmar; her brother-in-law John Redekop; her brother John Schroeder; her sister-in-law Ellie Knopf; her son-in-law Donald Klapecki; and also, Karl and Phillipina Knopf.

She is survived by: her children, Liana and Paul (Lisa Sommer); her parents-in-law, Heidi Schroeder, Irmgard and Earl Feick; and her great grandchildren, Astra Derksen, Starlynn Rose Gilhooly and Aurora Derksen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service and interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Spiritual Care Program at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home.
