Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gloria Hope Haarsma (West St Paul, Manitoba), who passed away at the age of 97, on September 28, 2020. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert James Haarsma. She is survived by: her children, Charlene (Duke), Marilyn, Janice, Beth (Jocelyn), Chuck (Tannis), Geraldine and Cheryl-Anne (Ward). She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Gloria was a talented seamstress and kept busy whether it was sewing for her family, helping with winter carnivals, making wedding dresses for neighbours, knitting and donating mountains of mittens and hundreds of "Izzy" dolls, and most recently hand sewing dozens of doll clothes during the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name to Transplant Manitoba would be appreciated.
