He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Winter and Helene Winter; and his siblings, Jacob, Hans Winter, Kornelius Martens and Susi Winter.
He is survived by: his wife Nettie; his children, Debbie (Don Rogalsky), Anita and Gordon; his grandchildren, Evan (Brittney Albanese) and Kim (Ryan Sinclair); his sister-in-law Mary Klassen; his cousins, Bill Janzen, Ellie Klassen (Corny), Susi Thiessen and John Winter (Bernice); his sister-in-law Kathe Winter; and his nieces, Valentine Vogt and Leni Fast.
