He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa; his parents, Franziska Mathä and Augustin Mathä; his brothers, August, Josef, Bernhard, Hermann and Leander; and his daughter-in-law Kathy.
He is survived by: his sons, Derrick and Brian (Jason); his grandchildren, Brett (Rebecca), Courtney (Brad) and Amanda (Ty); his siblings, Helga, Franz, Adolf and Helmut (Audrey); his friends, Austria and Fred; and his daughter Lisa.
