He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Leo Kuber Sr. and Alma Frances Kuber. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Emma Hladun (Gerald), Kathryn Kuber (Colin Dabisza) and Magda Kuber (Christopher Hamm); his grandchildren, Conner, Andrew, Elizabeth, Natalie Hladun, James, Adelaide Dabisza and Mila Hamm; and his sister Frances Kuber (Thomas Schaffer).

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family held a private viewing.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Selkirk & District Community Foundation in Elmer's honour.
