She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schaefer and Ottilia Schaefer; her stepmother Evelyn Schaefer; her brother Alan Schaefer; and her stepbrothers, Bruce Topham and Leslie Topham.

She is survived by: her husband Harvey; her daughters, Tracey (Perry) and Pamela (Allan); and her grandchildren, Nichole (Luke), Brett and Amy. She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
