He was predeceased by: his former wife Arlene; his wife Jean; his parents, Bill and Doreen; and his siblings, Mark Johnston and Casey Papegnies.
He is survived by: his children, Dustin Johnston (Courtney) of Wawanesa, MB and Kimberly Johnston of Wawanesa, MB; his grandsons, Corey and Colton; his stepchildren, Yvonne McKay and Kelly Steinke (Stacey); his stepgrandchildren, Rachel McKay (Daniel), Noah McKay and Katie Steinke; his brothers, Shane Johnston (Margaret) of Morris, MB and D'Arcy Johnston (Sharon) of Winnipeg, MB; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Johnston of Brandon, MB. He is also survived by relatives & friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wawanesa Cemetery.
