She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Elsie Byers; her husband Doug Rookes of Virden; her siblings, Florence, Lawrence (Buster), Gordon, Johnny, Robert (Bob), Verna (Stewart), Baby, William (Bill), George and Torrence (Buck); and also, Earl, Ron and Shirley (Campbell).
She is survived by: her sons, Allan and Ian; her sister Margaret (Wedgewood); her sister-in-law Maxine; her grandchildren, Dana (Ellie), Amanda, Richard (Tina), Samantha (Victor), Jennifer and Johnny (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Avery, Jase, Emerson, Logan, Finn, Azayleah and Xander.
