He was predeceased by: his parents, Ken Sampson and Jean Sampson. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his children, Jeff Coates of Glenboro, MB, Ryan Sampson (Candace) of Glenboro, MB, Ken Sampson (Bethany) of Holland, MB and Kelsey Sampson of Treherne, MB; his grandchildren, Dell, River, Kallie, Rylan, Seth, Brenley, Wilder, Lane, Crew, Hannah and Joshua (Willem); his sister Judy Sampson of Winnipeg, MB; and his nephew Mike (Terena). He is also survived by relatives & friends.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Treherne Community Hall (224 Vanzile St, Treherne, MB R0G2V0).
