He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bill Martin and Iva Collins; his wife Myrna Martin; his sisters, Kay Eastwood and Joyce Nightingale; his children, Lee Martin, Carrie Hume, Spencer Martin and Michele Martin; his grandchildren, Adam Tavener, Holly Rousson, Aynsley Hume, Kaylia Martin, Nicholas Martin, Christopher Cudmore, Daniel Cudmore and Jenny Cudmore; his great grandchildren, Tristan, Cooper, Emma and Ethan; his stepchildren, Jacalyn Symonds, Tracy Turner and Robin Symonds; and his grandchildren, Ashley Turner, Christopher Roos and Lucas Murphy-Symonds. He was also cherished by his many grandchildren as his signature rhyme with grandchildren.
