It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marilyn Beatrice Nazar of Teulon, Manitoba, who passed away at the age of 74, on May 22, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Stanley and Beatrice Stanley; her brother Keith (Shelagh); her sons, Bruce and Gregory; and also Mary.

She is survived by: her son Kevin; her brother Barry Stanley (Emmie); her son Ryan Stanley (Jenna); her granddaughter Elizabeth; her niece Rosalee Richardson (Ryan); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Riley, Lacey and Eve; her uncle Les Goddard; her grandson Clint Goddard (Janet); her great grandchildren, Sarah and Hannah; her daughter-in-law Lynda; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Doris; her aunt Shirley Riddell (late Bob); her children, Bob, Jerry, Brian (Wendy), James, Clare, Jenny (Les), Rachel, Abbey, Paul, Steven and Lindsay; her granddaughter Lea; her children, Cole, Hayley and Marilyn; her sister Patricia Affleck; her children, Rob Piper, Lorrie Lynn Libis (Piper), Sherri-Dawn, Corinna, Bradley and Jason; her sister Alexandria; and her husband Ted.

And, although we were not in touch for more than two years due to the global Covid-19 pandemics and Marilyn's condition, the Couples for Christ brothers and sisters found out what had befallen Marilyn, contacted me and we were in the midst of a novena (nine days) of prayers for the repose of Marilyn's soul; a God-send of charitable good works.
