He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Safiniuk and Helen Safiniuk; his siblings, Eileen De Sousa, Marlene Ward and Barry Safiniuk; and his aunt Marie Kellas.
He is survived by: his children, Kari Halleux (Roger) and Greg (Mia); his uncle Steve Cymbalisty; his siblings, Mike (Debbie), Bev Rich, Liz Golis (Larry) and Theresa Lewis; and his close friend Deb Shabatoski. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Alan's name to Cancer Care Manitoba.
