He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Helgason and Dorie Helgason; his brothers, Gerald and Don Helgason; and his niece Lisa Helgason.
He is survived by: his wife Leona; his son Derrick (Nadine); his grandchildren, Dorian, Kirsten and Peyton; his son Evan (Kerry); his grandchildren, Jordan (Ashley), Taylor and Jeremy; his great grandchild Lucy; his brother Hugh (Elaine); his nieces and nephews, Mandy (Jeff) and Cam; his sister Alice (Wayne); his nephew Shane (Heather); and his niece Jennifer (Doug).
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the W. A. Edwards Family Centre (333 4th Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K2L8).
