He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alex, Glenn, Murray (Ruby), Keith, Doreen (Bob) and Beryl (Sam); his mother-in-law Edna; his great grandchild Emily; and his parents, Walter Stewart and Ethel Stewart of Lilyfield, Manitoba..

He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle (Lyle) and Lisa (Dennis); his grandchildren, Murray (Kristin), Kyle (Kezia), Grace and Aiden; his brother Ken (Marilyn); his sisters-in-law, Kitty, Mary and Joyce; his wife Darlene Fisher of Argyle; and also, Glenn Appleyard, Walter Stewart, Ken Stewart, John Good, Ron Stewart, Don Stewart and Raymond Stewart. He is also survived by numerous friends, nieces, and nephews.
