She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Joseph Chartrand; her sons, Alvin (Rose) and Darin (Jodi); and her siblings, Mirtle (Clement), Clarence (Kay), Stanley and Edith (Armand).

She is survived by: her sons, Melvin (Shirley), Brian (Mary-Lee), Andy (Lori) and Dwaine (Cheryl); and her sister Mary (Rene). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
