He was predeceased by: his parents, Polly Petrachek and Steve Petrachek; his parents-in-law, Alex and Winnie Fotty; and his brothers-in-law, Ross Smith and Pierre Vanasse.

He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Anthony (Jen) and Alisa (Sean); his brothers, David (Anne), Ray (Deb) and Rick (Marianne); and his siblings-in-law, Alex (Joan), Gerald (Dianne), Sharon and Colleen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
