It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susie Esau of Steinbach, Manitoba, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Esau; and her siblings, Ben, Ed, John, Arnold, Irwin and Linda.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Krawchuk of Winnipeg, MB, Ben Esau (Judy) of Fergus, ON, Linda Dyck (Ernie) of Winnipeg, MB, Edwin Esau (Annette) of Durham, ON and Brian Esau (Irma) of Steinbach, MB; her siblings, Elma Greig of Marwayne, AB, Lawrence Heinrichs of Winnipeg, MB, Leonard Heinrichs (Jean) of Lloyminster, SK and Bill Heinrichs (Carol) of Mundare, AB; and her sister-in-law Tina Heinrichs of Lowe Farm, MB.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and their spouses; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID and self-isolating regulations a few years ago, it wasn't feasible for families from Ontario to visit her in Manitoba, so arrangements were made to gather at a cottage in Northwestern Ontario in the fall.
