He was predeceased by: his daughter Melody Penner; his son-in-law Delbert Penner; and his parents, David Thiessen and Mary Thiessen. He is survived by: his wife Susanne Thiessen; his children, David Thiessen (Brenda), Carly Fehr (Andreas) and Austin Penner; his grandchildren, Zachary Thiessen and Sarah Falk (Leo); and his great grandchild Jakob Fehr.
