He was predeceased by: his parents, Diedrich Rempel and Elizabeth Rempel; his sister Susan; and his brother-in-law Fred Schultz. He is survived by: his siblings, Abe (Susan), Mary Brandt (Clifford), Henry (Viola), Bettie Broesky (Jake), Helen Friesen (John), Anne Friesen (Albert) and Margaret; and also John Sawatzky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1).
