He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Kraynyk; his siblings, Mary Muzyka (John), Olga Rozwood (Edward), Anne Sokoliuk (John), John, Mike, Nick and Bill Kraynyk; his brother-in-law Mike Olynyk; and his parents, Dmytro Kraynyk and Katherine Kraynyk.
He is survived by: his children, Rose Dale Preteau, Debbie Froese (Bill) and Trevor Kraynyk (Lori); his grandchildren, Ashley Labossiere (Domi), Paul Preteau (Sally), Edina, Kyle Froese (Allysa), Chelsey Froese (Adam), Kaleigh Aschenbrener (Lee), Tanner Aschenbrener (Brooke), Dylan Kraynyk and Brendan Kraynyk; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Autumn and Adrik; his sister Margaret Olynyk; and his sister-in-law Anne Kraynyk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
