He was predeceased by: his father Benoit; and his sister-in-law Paulette Preteau. He is survived by: his wife Rita (Preteau); his sons, John (Michelle) and Bob (Nicole); his grandsons, Ryan and Andrew Butler (Jenny); his mother Noella (Carriere); his siblings, Henri (Yvonne), Arthur (Suzanne), Marcel (Monique), Richard (Rachael), Elaine Remanda (Bill), Rachelle Preteau, Madeleine Gentes (George) and Rose Preteau (Noel); and his sisters-in-law, Aline Sveinson (Paul), Jeannette Trudel (Real) and Claudette Remillard (Jacques). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
