It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Block (Steinbach, Manitoba), who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Block; her son Terry; her brothers-in-law, Frank Froese and Peter Nikkel; her brother Ernie; and her parents, George Warkentin and Elizabeth Warkentin (Peters).
She is survived by: her son Ernie (Marj); her grandchildren, Jaclyn Ryder (Matthew Block), Trigg, Bristol, Kelli (Matthew Wiebe) and Emma; her children, Lorna and David; her daughter-in-law Bertha (Carl Dueck); her children, Ruth (Dylan Konrad), Jessica Ellie (Clayton Penner), Everly and Adler; and her siblings, Helga Froese, Edith Nikkel, Lydia Mathes and Harold Warkentin (Marlene).
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
