He was predeceased by: his former wife Matilda; and his parents, Joseph and Margaret. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Vanessa, Royden, Matthew, Chantel, Elliot, Kate, Arlo and Brady; and his stepson Justin. He is also survived by eight brothers and two sisters.
