With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janet Harder (Steinbach, Manitoba), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janet left this world on December 18, 2024 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schalla and Lillian Schalla; her siblings, Wilbert, Evelyn Schalla, Gordon Schalla, Sylvia Rempel, Alice, Erwin Meyers and Jacky Pandey; and her parents-in-law, Frank and Agnetha Harder.
She is survived by: her husband Abe; her daughter-in-law Jenn Daignault (Ron); her grandchildren-in-law, Jazz Daignault (Michael San Pedro), Shane St. Michael, Trent St. Michael (Tianna Chohan), Brent St. Michael, Dos Harder, Maddy, Kaylynn Mayer and Tamara Jasin; her great grandchildren, Mikael San Pedro and Landon St. Michael; and also Kevin Harder (Patricia). She is also survived by one sister, one brother and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1).
In lieu of flowers the family would like to suggest donations be made to Menno Home Foundation of Grunthal Inc., Children's Hospital, Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, a charity of one's choice, or a tree can be planted on behalf of Janet Harder.
