He was predeceased by: his parents, Jakob Kroeker and Anna Kroeker. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Vogt; his children, Lori Klassen (Phillip), Caroline, Diana and Karl Heinz (Chi); his grandchildren, Natasha Klassen (Andrew Hector), Jacquelyn Lacko (Christian), Robert Klassen, Andrew, Heidi, William and John Kroeker; and his siblings, Anne Klassen, Ike (Elsie), Katie, Mary Rempel (Eric), Henry (Penny), Irma and Frieda Doerksen (Howard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Friends Funeral Service (2146 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R2V3S5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Mennonite Church of Winnipeg (922 Notre Dame Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E0N5).
