Helen Sawka Obituary
In loving memory of Helen Sawka (Steinbach, Manitoba), who departed this world on November 24, 2024 at the age of 91. Helen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dan; her son Douglas; her parents, Kazmir Wolfe and Julia Wolfe; and her siblings, Joe, Frank, John, Walter, Stanley, Antoinette and Mary Sokolyk.
She is survived by: her children, George, Patricia Motiuk (Ernie), Kimberley Okapiec (Larry), Janice Sawka (Sid Foy) and Christine Edinborough (Jim); her daughter-in-law Debbie Sawka; her sisters-in-law, Margaret and Doris Wolfe; her grandchildren, Laura (Brad), Kyle (Jamie), Robin (Derek), Daniel (Amber) and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Regan, Karra, Evie, Vayda, Theodore and Henry. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G 1M1).
