He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Linda Freund, Norma Dyback, Elaine Osadchuk (Ted), Eileen Freund, Nora Freund and Elfrieda Smuk; his brothers-in-law, Roy Freund and Tom Dyback; his great-nephews, Zachary Warkentin and Brandon Smith; and his mother Alma Freund.
