He is survived by: his wife Agnes; and his children, Cliff Stobbe (Shirley), Elvina Bergmann (Rick) and Pat Fryer. He is also survived by six grandchildren and their spouses, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was the first in the Boissevain area to donate land for a grow project and was involved in this for 10 years.
