He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Esther; his daughters, Jerilyn (Ryan Koslowsky), Katie, Raechel, Sarah, Jessie, Brendin, Natiya, Makwa, Gaylene Doerksen, Renae (Allen Sterk), Tyra, Chloe and Kayden; his sisters, Wanda (John Wiebe), Hilde (Dick Friesen), Sharon Doerksen and Levitt Muirhead; his sisters-in-law, Hilda (Vernon Froese) and Alice (Len Froese); and his parents, Frank Doerksen and Mary Doerksen. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
