With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Bruce Burnell (Steinbach, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As David Bruce departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved David Bruce. Though David Bruce may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Margie); his children, Jordan and Erica (Travis); his parents, Jacqueline Burnell and Bruce Burnell; and his siblings, Alison Grysiuk (Calvin) and Ryan Burnell. He is also survived by extended family with many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
