Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Catherine Martens of Steinbach, Manitoba, who passed away at the age of 77, on December 15, 2024. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Catherine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Martens; and her parents, Abram Fehr and Tina Fehr. She is survived by: her close friend Jean Piche; and her children, Ralph (Josie) and Wanda (Carl). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
