He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Ron; his brothers, Peter, Walter (Lena) and Henry; and his parents, Abram (Sarah Plett) and Neu-Schoensee.
He is survived by: his wife Maria (Loewen); his daughter Helen (Ron); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Owen), Leanne (Bryan), Tim (Chelsea) and Russ (Nicole); his great grandchild Lydia; his siblings, Tina (Dick), Mary (Henry) and Willy (Betty); his sisters-in-law, Hedy, June (Wilbert) and Nettie; and also, Rachael (Marvin), Jeremy (Jasmine), Amanda (Chris), Zachary (Ivory) and Kaden. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
