He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Richardson (Wansbrough); his parents, Bert Richardson and Helen Richardson (Conner); his brothers, Grey and Stan; his nephew Robert Richardson; his niece Virgina Tschirhart; and his close friend Lee Dingwall (Roberta McCannell).

He is survived by: his sister Shirley Ross of Victoria; and his daughters, Judy (Jack) of Kelowna, Laurie (Will) of Courtenay and Shirley (Jim) of Springfield.
